The mill works well as long as you don't strain the mixer by doing a huge batch of fine flour all at once. I use it to make flour from our spring red wheat. To mill directly into my kitchenaid bowl, which i do tend to use a lot for baking, i have to pull the mill to the front of my counter and hold the bowl manually (not efficient!). I bought a 25kg of wheat to make my flour (23$), i put it twin into the grain mill to get it finest, after i sift it twice and it makes an amazing flour.

I found this mill because we already had a kitchen aid mixer, and all the other decent mills i found were absurdly expensive. A hopper screwed to a burr, with a knob that lets you adjust the setting according to how fine you want your flour to be.
